I'm thinking of copyright to protect brand/name and seen companies advertised on the web who carry out searches etc for you at a nominal fee. But is it better via a solicitor?
How expensive are they to get? Whtas the actual point of copyright and can it actualy be enforced?

What about the question of intellectual property rights? If you're an inventor, you will need to research this to decide if you need a copyright, a trademark, IP protection or a full patent. I would go to a specialist lawyer for something like this since it can be a bit of a minefield.
