Hi there i believe that i have been mis-sold PPI and have a right to claim. I was recently cold called by a company who claim to be able to get back my money for a commission. Although after further talking i think they were lucky more than actually knowing anything about me (phising i believe it is called.
Should PPI be something that i pursue personally or is it sensible to let one of these companies to do it for me?

Hi Mark, i think recently most people would have had either a text message or cold call in regards to PPI, there is no doubt that it's big industry with people making big bucks. As with engaging with anyone in regards to reclaims do your research on any company that you engage with. There is a useful guide to PPi reclaims here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
Good luck and be careful
