Hello, i wish to remortgage my house to reduce my monthly repayments. My mortgage has 10 years left untill i own the house (i am with Northern Rock). Every month i am currently repaying £600. I got in touch with a no fee whole of market broker who suggested a specific policy which lowered my monthly repayment. However, i have done some of my own research, and it appears that there are numerous different companies offering better offers than that which the broker recommended to me! Why did the broker not recommend these to me? Is it to do with my earnings? I am tempted to ignore the broker and take the better deal i found online. Am i missing anything? Thanks for the help.
