looking at tax efficient investments, can anyone confirm how one can claim income tax relief for an investment in an EIS fund? Thanks..

You should get the details of how to claim on the EIS5 form. Once this is issued you can send this to the tax office to have the adjustment in your PAYE coding but generally relief is obtained via the self assessment system.All of the details are on the HMRC website http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/helpsheets/hs341.pdf
