House price crash

asked by ER Carrington posted 2 Years ago at 11:03
With 1.3 million properties for sale but just 530,000 mortgages will there be another price crash?? I have owned a couple of investment properties for quite a few years and was wondering if others thought it might be an idea to sell. I will layout my thoughts, i see the housing market being pretty static for the foreseeable future therefore i could sell and jump back in in a few years with the only money lost being rent and fees if things aren't going well. I could make better use of the money in other ways. Or should i be happy with the relatively good yield i get at the moment from rentt. (by the way i have had this properties since 1995 in london so they have treated me very very well)

Why not hedge your bets and move 50% into other types of investment to consolidate your gains? See an IFA, put some on deposit and some on more adventurous Far Eats Funds where the next decades growth is almost certain to come? And spend some on getting your Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney sorted!!!

And if you aren't hungry, you could try Far EAST Funds!!!

Haha yes i was about to pull you up on that one. I am a bit worried about a possible housing bubble in china. I have heard some positive things on Mongolia, and i think there have been a few comments on this site about it. Although that's probably classed as a frontier market. My Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney are all sorted thanks, that's the first thing i did as soon as i made any money!
