Is it just investing for hippies, and eco warriors and is there any real substance behind it, or is it a fad

Hi its also known as Socially responsible Investing, usually if you are investing ethically you will be staying clear of alcohol, tobacco, weapons and military attachments, personally i don't think its a fad as its been here for ages and looks to be getting stronger, its origins lie with the Quakers who prohibited members to parti***te in anything to do with the slave trade
