We also wanted to provide professionals, service companies and product providers with access to consumers who need the help or information and wanted choice and a method for selection. Our research has confirmed the need for these online services, particularly ahead of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) and issues surrounding Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and a need for multi-discipline approach and access.

Total Investor makes no recommendations or endorsements of any 3rd party professionals, providers or any products and services displayed, we leave the choice, contact and any decisions entirely with the reader or member.

The value of your (consumer) private information held in the system is paramount to Total Investor . Total Investor have taken very strong security measures to ensure the system is secure and your data and personal information is kept safe at all times. This is all supported by encryption methodology and security measures to keep your information safe. Our site is hosted with a leading UK Internet Service Provider and firewalls are in place. Advisers, Service and Product providers contact information is made available to Consumers, but the Consumers contact details are never displayed in public unless entered into the main body of a text box by the consumer themselves.

If you are a consumer you can receive our free regular Newsletter by subscribing. You will automatically be notified by email alerts if anyone has answered any of your questions, pitch's or posts. As at 1st January 2012 there are over 10,000 registered professional members.

The registered professionals are from the Intermediary sector and represent the IFA, tied and multi-tied community as a whole. In addition the other 3 core "Types" of professionals are listed under Accounting, Legal and Property related. Total Investor wants to make available to you as many possible professionals across these 4 disciplines. Total Investor does not validate any advisers or professional authorisation status. We recommend that you check any intermediary authorisation on the FSA register at www.fsa.gov.uk or the appropriate regulatory body.

Yes, if you are a registered professional or company (and logged-in) you can post comments on the consumer forum , the professional forum and on various other parts of the site.
