What is Lifestyle Planning?!

Hi, does this mean you can help me buy a power boat and live in Monte Carlo? Only joking, but can someone help me by describing what this is and what is means?

Hi Sam,I've seen it quoted as something like this - "Lifestyle Planning is the review of the financial assets you own at present and using sophisticated techniques to work out how your finances might look in the future. This means the calculations are made to assess how much you might have to live on in retirement, or how much extra savings you should make to meet your future expectations". I have no idea what the sophisticated techniques are, but I guess some form of financial modelling. Fidel.

There's a lot of lifestyle software tools out there. My IFA comes over and puts all my numbers in and out pops some very pretty graphs. I suggest you see an IFA.Love Tracy
